I need a desk
Do I have to register?
You only need to register if you’re advertising a desk.
If you’re looking for a desk and want to contact the person that posted an ad, then you don’t need to register. You can just click the Contact tab on the right of the advert and send your message.
Is there a cost?
If you’re looking for a desk, there’s no cost – it’s completely free.
What’s more, we don’t get involved in the rental process so we don’t even take a commission from the advertiser.
How do I reply to an ad?
Once you’ve seen a desk or space you like the look of, just click the Contact tab at the right side of the screen. You’ll see a form.
Fill the form out and click Send Enquiry when you’re done. The message and details you entered are sent directly to the advertiser, who should be in touch soon.
How do I find out about new ads posted?
You can join our mailing list and be among the first to know about new ads. You don’t need to register as a user of the site, just fill in the form below these questions.
I've got desks to advertise
Do I have to register?
You only need to register if you’re advertising a desk. Registering allows you to manage and edit your ad at any time.
If you’re looking for a desk and want to contact the person that posted an ad, then you don’t need to register.
What does it cost?
We aim to offer a cost-effective solution, so our adverts are very competitively priced. You can place an ad for only £9.
Payments are only made when you post your ad, and your ad goes live when the payment process is complete.
Do you take commission fees?
No – we don’t take commission. Our overall approach, if you’re advertising a desk, is that you should only pay to list your ad. We don’t get involved in the rent process and we don’t take any fees after you list your ad. You keep 100% of the rent you agree with your tenant/customer.
Do you retain my card details?
No. Deskonnect does not hold your payment card details. All payments are handled by PayPal and card details are not transmitted to Deskonnect.
How long does my advert last?
Your advert is displayed for 60 days. When your advert expires, you’ll receive an email. You can log into your dashboard to renew and edit the advert.
Can I edit or end my advert myself?
Yes, you can edit the text and images of your advert at any time. Just log in to your account, visit your dashboard, and you’ll see all of your adverts including live ads and those that may have expired.
If your desk gets rented you can stop the ad, then celebrate – obviously.
Can I renew an ad after it has expired?
Yes, just like editing your ads, log in and go to your dashboard. Select the ad you want to renew, and renew it. This will take you back through the submission process and you can edit the ad at the same time if you need to.
